Zinc Oxide Plaster

Surgical Bandage is made of very fine cotton yarn. It is very soft and comfort. Prepared from cotton which consists of 18mm and above fiber length. The seeds, foreign matter, short fiber and dust particles are removed mechanically to ensure the cotton is pure. To make the cotton safe to use and free from fatty matter, it is treated with alkali, bleached and washed.

It is then mechanically loosened and separated into a fleecy mass of cotton fiber. This is then packed as rolls or in zigzag packing weighing from 500g, 200g, 100g, and 50g to 20g. Rolled Surgical Cotton is manufactured various weight measures and sizes. Surgical Cotton wool is used in pre operative skin preparation, cleaning and swabbing wounds and application of medicaments to wounds.
